TSA

TSA, working closely with Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), developed multiple security directives that Owners and operators of TSA-designated critical pipelines that transport hazardous liquids and natural gas must comply with.  

Berkana has assisted multiple clients with developing documentation, programs, and implementing technology to successfully achieve compliance with these directives.

PHMSA

We provide comprehensive compliance support for control room environments, ensuring that your operations meet the regulatory requirements set forth by PHMSA under 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195.

PHMSA requires regulated pipeline operators to comply with multiple American Petroleum Institute (API) Recommended Practices to include the following:

Audits

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and Transportation Security Administration (TSA)  look at operators with regulated assets in two ways - those that have been audited and those that will be audited. Our team has assisted multiple clients with successful audits, helped prepare clients for audits, sat across from the auditors’ representing clients, and dealt with mitigating any areas of improvement pre and post audit.
